Using a wheel requires strength, and can often be challenging for little ones. Please share this information with your child to adjust their expectations.

Let's get muddy! Children ages 8 and older can come try the potter’s wheel and become familiar with clay. This 2.5-hour session will introduce your child to the pottery-making basics with the goal of exploration and fun. This event will delight kids who enjoy immersive sensory experiences. Come in comfy clothes that can get dirty, bring your own apron, remove jewelry, and trim those nails to have the most ease with clay as you move it around.

Please arrive for a prompt pick up of your child within 10 minutes after the end of class. A late pick up fee of $10 will be invoiced for those who arrive past 10 minutes.

Let's get muddy! We recommend bringing an apron or an old towel for working with clay. This 2-hour session will introduce participants to the pottery-making basics and include kid-friendly demonstration of throwing a simple cup or bowl form. The instructor will come around and check in with participants throughout the class. The last 15 minutes of class time is reserved for clean-up.

The $95 fee includes firing one of your child’s creations with a single glaze of your choice from our studio selection, which you will pick up at a later date. Pieces are typically ready for pickup within 4-6 weeks.

We want your child to have a great time creating with clay. Please remember this is just an introduction to clay! We cannot guarantee high-quality results for any pots made during the class. Our goal is to provide a fun clay experience!

Sometimes clay cracks or breaks in the kiln for a variety of reasons outside of our control. In the event that piece(s) do not make it through the kiln firings, we contact you and offer a replacement item made by one of the instructors with the original glaze choice.
